Pediatric Surgery

Louisville Pediatric Surgery

Pediatric Surgery Associates specializes in the surgical care of children from newborn to 18 years old. Older adolescents or adults with special health care needs or who are continuing care under their pediatrician may be seen on request. Located in Louisville, the practice takes care of children who need elective or emergency surgery for problems involving the neck, lungs, abdomen and groin, gastrointestinal tract, and minor surgical problems involving the face. We also care for lumps and bumps, moles and small and large soft tissue masses or tumors anywhere on the body. Special interests include newborn congenital anomalies (birth defects), childhood tumors and children who have syndromes associated with surgical conditions.

Pediatric Surgery Associates practices at Kosair Children's Hospital, which is also a Level 1 Trauma Center, and cares for the majority of the region’s pediatric trauma and burn patients in Western Kentucky and Southern Indiana. There is also an outpatient surgery facility at Kosair Children’s Medical Center (KCMC).
