For Physicians

At University of Louisville Physicians, we are committed to building an inclusive partnership with our referring physicians.  This resolution is built on the understanding that, by teaming with the referring physicians, we are providing our patients with a comprehensive treatment plan that will extend well beyond the services they receive within the UofL Physicians’ system.

We will include the referring physicians in their patients’ care to the extent they desire and will deliver the level of communication that they expect when referring a patient into one of our 78 practices.

We are steadfast in our desire to direct the patient back to the referring physician whenever possible and sharing the outcomes and results of their patients’ evaluation, diagnosis and treatment.

Our referring physicians are considered as much a customer as the patient themselves.
